PRACTICE CHARTER STANDARD

 

Our Practice Charter lays out how we the surgery would expect all our patients to help enable the practice to provide the best possible care and service.   We would ask for your help, consideration and in working together with the surgery to help us offer a supportive and caring medical service.   

 

We aim to provide a professional high quality approachable healthcare to meet your requirements, and always remember the needs of the individual.

 

We look to welcome our patients and ensure there safety in a practical and pleasant surroundings.

 

Service for  "The Patient"

 

We will treat all patients as individuals, showing courtesy and respect, at all times, regardless of ethnic origin, religious belief, personal attributes or the nature of their medical problem.

 

You have "the right" to complete confidentially and privacy at all times. 

 

Our staff will approach you in a professional, friendly manner and wear name badges.

 

Appointments can be booked by telephone and we aim to answer phones as promptly as we are able to on the day.

 

We try to offer appointments with the Doctor of your choice, but this may not always be possible due to the demand for one particular doctor on that day.

 

Urgent appointments are available with the Duty Doctor of the day.

Surgeries will begin promptly, any delay will be due to medical necessity or unforseen circumstances.

Medical Records - You have the right to see your medical notes, subject to the permission of the Doctor and due to

 

exceptional circumstances.

 

 

Request to be made by letter to the Practice Manager.  There will be a charge for any copies required.
