How to Make an Appointment with the Doctor

Please telephone during surgery hours only or call at reception. If you are booking a routine appointment please try to avoid our busiest period between 08.30 and 09.30.

GP appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance with the exception of the Duty doctor whose appointments will be for urgent medical issues on the day. Urgent appointments are offered in sequence only until we are fully booked. After this patients will be offerd GP appointments at HUB sites currently at Birchwood, Hawthorns and Caterham Dene sites. Patients may also attend the walk in centre at Crawley.

We have introduced routine appointment booking online via PATIENT ACCESS (formerly EMIS ACCESS). You will need to register for this, please speak to a member of the reception team.

If you are not able to keep an appointment, please let reception know, appointments are always in need and we can offer your unused appointment to another patient.

If you are unwell and the surgery is closed, please dial 111 for out of hours advice from NHS111. These calls are free from landlines and mobiles. In the case of an emergency call 999.

Please note that in the interest of all parties telephone calls to the surgery are recorded.
