Lingfield Surgery is in a semi-rural area on the Surrey, Sussex and Kent border. It currently has 10,172 patients registered in the age brackets shown below

The surgery has 3 nursing homes and a specialist school within its boundary.

There are 3 partners and 3 salaried doctors. The team includes the Practice Manager, Operations Manager, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 Phlebotomists, and 14 part-time administrators of various roles.

The surgeries doors open Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm with the telephones available for emergencies from 8.00 am on those days. An extended hours service is available from 7.20 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays for pre-booked appointments which are particularly suited to commuters.

Lingfield Patient Participation Group

The group consists of 11 people who attend regular evening meetings held every 6 and 8 weeks depending on the projects being discussed. The group had many achievements in 2013. These include:

  • Two first aid courses for patients
  • The Lions Spectacle Recycling Scheme
  • Childs play maze table, kindly donated from the funds of the Friends of Lingfield
  • PPG first AGM
  • Helped choose the new telephone system
  • Terms of Reference agreed
  • Patient input into new appointment system of June 2013 with pre-booking 4 weeks ahead
